Difficulty & Experience

Difficulty Level?

Considered moderate to challenging. Good physical fitness is recommended, especially for the summit.

Previous Experience Needed?

Not always. Beginners can take Crater Rim packages, while summit routes are better for those with previous hiking experience.

Weather & Preparation

Best Time to Trek?

April to December is the best season. The park is usually closed during the rainy season from January to March for safety.

How Cold at the Top?

Temperatures can drop to 5°C or lower at night. Warm clothing is strongly recommended for camping and the summit push.

What to Prepare?

Come with good physical condition, proper trekking shoes, warm layers, a headlamp, and a rain jacket. A full packing list will be provided after booking.

Is Travel Insurance Required?

It is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended for high-altitude trekking to prioritize safety and financial protection.

What if the Weather is Bad?

Safety is the priority. If the park closes due to weather or safety conditions, we offer a reschedule or refund according to policy.

Inclusions & Logistics

What's Included?

Guide and porter, meals and drinks, camping equipment, entrance fee, transport (pick-up and drop-off), and a first aid kit. All necessary logistics are covered.

Porters and Luggage?

Porters carry camping gear, food, and equipment. Guests carry personal items, and you can request an additional private porter for personal luggage.

Luggage Storage?

Yes. You can safely leave extra luggage at our office or your accommodation, which helps keep your pack light on the trail.
